Milton Keynes Annual Charity Korfball Tournament

This annual event is for the first time moving to a Saturday and will played at the same time as the UK's largest club tournament, KORFSTOCK.

The company tournament will take place at Emerson Valley Sports Pavilion on Saturday 14th July from 1-4pm.

We hope to have up to 20 company teams competing.  All porceeds will go to the Little Lives Appeal - raising funds for the MK General Hospital's Neonatal Baby Unit.

KORFSTOCK is a large clubs tournament that attracted 40 teams last year.  This year it will be bigger and will once again have many side shows and attractions.

Since 2008 the tournament has raised nearly £3,000 for local good causes including the Milton Keynes Neonatal Baby Unit and the Milton Keynes Community Foundation.

Twenty teams will take part in the tournament in 2012.  How about entering your company team?  Training for teams can be provided by qualified korfball coaches at a time to suit.  Or come along to training and join in.  Or simply sign up and turn up.

Korfball is an easy game to pick up (though harder to master).  It is a great mixed-sex sport and is fantastic for team-building.
