Aim of the Club
To play and promote the sport of korfball to:
- Promote fitness
- Make friends
- Have fun
- Improve and compete
- Be welcoming to all
- Increase participation
Milton Keynes City will develop opportunities for young people to take up our
sport and be part of our club.
In doing so all club members, coaches and volunteers will work to provide a
safe, healthy and happy environment for young players to learn the game.
The club will ensure that the well being of young players is the paramount
consideration.
The club will not tolerate discrimination, intimidation or violence in any form.
The club expects any members, coaches or volunteers witnessing or
becoming aware of any situations that have or may put young players at harm
to be report them to the appropriate authorities immediately and for the
committee to be informed. The first point of contact is Holly Barrett. Details

Any incidents will be investigated thoroughly by the committee and during
such investigation appropriate measures to ensure the safety of young
members, including suspending club members, coaches or volunteers, will be
put swiftly into effect.
All club members, coaches and volunteers working with players under 18
years must be CRB checked.
All club members, coaches and volunteers working with players under 18
years must read this policy and sign the attached sheet to demonstrate their
understanding and adherence to all statements contained within.
